Major Projects
Proterra Group manages and delivers large-scale infrastructure projects across regional Queensland — from natural disaster recovery to roads, bridges, and community facilities.
We don't just plan the work. We deliver it.
We understand the complexity of major projects and partner closely with councils and government clients to achieve cost-efficient, compliant, and timely outcomes.
With permanent offices in Toowoomba, Quilpie and Goondiwindi, our team is embedded in regional Queensland — not flying in from Brisbane.

Powered by Survai
Proterra Group, in partnership with Survai Systems, delivers a complete road condition assessment service — from field data capture through to works programming, funding submissions, and project delivery.
A Survai-equipped vehicle surveys your road network automatically — capturing high-resolution imagery, GPS location, roughness data, and rut depth every 10 metres at survey speed.
Data uploads directly to sovereign Australian cloud storage (AUCyber) and is assessed by our RPEQ-certified engineers.

Turning damage into funded recovery
Securing Natural Disaster Recovery funding through the DRFA requires comprehensive, well-documented evidence.
Proterra Group has successfully delivered over $750M in DRFA-funded works across Paroo Shire, Quilpie Shire, and Goondiwindi Regional Council.
Project management costs are fully reimbursable under the DRFA scheme — meaning our service can come at little to no direct cost to council.
