With over 30 years in environmental science and executive leadership, Dr Paul Clayton has led pivotal projects across Queensland. His career began in aquatic research at the Australian Centre for Tropical Freshwater Research, evolving into key roles with Queensland's environmental and natural resources departments. Paul developed critical water and wetland management tools that have become essential for conservation and land-use planning. In the private sector, Paul excelled at RPS Australia, overseeing environmental strategy and regional development. Most recently, as Executive Director of Infrastructure for Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service, Paul led a 450-member team, driving complex health infrastructure projects and strategic initiatives. Dr. Clayton’s unique blend of technical expertise and leadership continues to shape environmental and infrastructure advancements across regional Queensland
