The challenge
Toowoomba Regional Council was experiencing problems with their Toowoomba City Library Water Feature and plant room. The filtration and water quality were sub-standard and the council needed expert assistance to find a solution.
Our solution
Proterra Group was contracted to undertake a review of the site's Aquatic Design. Proterra worked with Toowoomba Regional Council to simplify the design and appoint a new building and aquatic contractor. Proterra Group went on to project manage the upgrade works.
The benefit
The benefits of this upgrade are two-fold. The local community has an improved water feature and water quality and less time out of service. The Toowoomba Regional Council maintenance team now have a proper plant room with sufficient space to house the pumps, filters and chemicals required to keep the water feature operating at optimum capacity.�
The result
Proterra Group was able to successfully complete the required upgrade to the water feature, resulting in improved system operations, and less downtime.
