The challenge
Mackay Regional Council undertakes an annual program of inspections and maintenance of sewer holes to assist in their Asset Management Planning.
Our solution
Proterra Group provided a two-person team to undertake an asset verification and condition assessment of sewer maintenance holes. This was performed using Council�s existing software and inspection methodology, and according to prioritised works packages that were developed by the Council and given to Proterra Group each year.
The benefit
Proterra Group conducted inspections in line with Council's existing inspection methods. This culminated in a seamless transfer of data from Proterra�s inspections to Council's Asset Management System. The four annualised programs given to and acted on by Proterra Group, allowed Council to benefit from mutual operational learnings and improvements.
The result
Proterra Group seamlessly provided Mackay Regional Council with current asset verification and condition assessments of sewer maintenance holes for each works package. Council then used this data to create maintenance and replacement programs for their wastewater network.
