The challenge
Due to ongoing severe droughts, Goondiwindi - like many other QLD towns � was facing severe water security issues. The Goondiwindi Regional Council had forecast the water supply would be completely depleted in a matter of months. Additional water sources were needed urgently.
Our solution
Proterra Group�s highly experienced team was engaged to take swift action to alleviate the water shortage issue. Facilitated by Proterra Group, two new bores were drilled. The Gubbermunda Bore and Hutton Bore were able to successfully supplement the town's water supply.
The benefit
Goondiwindi Regional Council was provided with an immediate solution to their urgent water shortage issue. The two new bores will provide ongoing water supply security for the town and its residents.
The result
Goondiwindi Regional Council has continued to have a sustainable and more than adequate amount of town water since the bores were installed.
