The challenge
Due to unprecedented flooding, Toowoomba Regional Council required additional resourcing to undertake road inspections for their network in the north of the region.
Localities included Crows Nest, Goombungee, Yarraman, Haden, Highfields, Kingsthorpe, Meringandan, Kleinton, Cabarlah, Glencoe, Geham and Cooyar.
Our solution
Proterra Group was able to quickly fill the position with a suitable candidate.
With a Cert IV in Civil Construction and more than 20 years experience in the civil construction industry, Mick was a great fit for Council.
The benefit
Mick's experience with DRFA inspections, particularly damage identification using Recover software allowed him to hit the ground running with this project.
The result
Mick has now completed the majority of the DRFA inspections for the area.
Due to his efficiency, Council have continued Mick's engagement and he is currently undertaking inspection of other Council owned assets.
