The challenge
Loddon Shire Council is the third largest council in Victoria, meaning they are responsible for the maintenance and operation of a vast network of gravel roads in various conditions and importance.
To better manage their assets Loddon required a condition assessment of their entire gravel access and collector network.
Our solution
A solution was devised utilising a combination of mounted GoPro photos and Esri FieldMaps to develop a custom field data capture solution for the client. This was paired with a completion progress dashboard to enable effective communication.
The benefit
Proterra Group were able to provide a low-cost solution whilst still providing an accurate and thorough dataset for the condition assessment of the client's gravel road network.
