The Challenge
Goondiwindi Regional Council has recently adopted the ESRI ArcGIS suite of applications as well as a new Asset Management System. During this process Council wanted to cleanse and update their data to make it as accurate and extensive as possible whilst also linking the two systems to improve collaboration between departments.
The Solution
Proterra Group was engaged by Council to provide resources to review and cleanse existing asset registers, standardise data across fields, facilitate the conversion and upload of data to Council's online spatial system and troubleshoot any issues around the adoption of the ESRI ArcGIS range of applications.
This process required a high level of collaboration between Proterra Group, Goondiwindi Regional Council and the new AMS supplier to ensure council requirements around accuracy and completeness were met.

Since Proterra Group were acting in a client-side role, a high trust level between Council and Proterra Group was successfully maintained. This has been the case between Proterra Group and GRC over the many years however where we have provided our Engineering, Waste, AM and GIS services to GRC.
